27m motor yacht Hooligan burns and sinks in Estonia

A 27 metre Canados motor yacht named Hooligan has caught hearth and sunk off the coast of Tallin, Estonia.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 30. According to native reviews, the yacht, which was carrying ten passengers on the time of the incident, sunk inside an hour of the blaze breaking out.

According to a neighborhood yacht weblog, the yacht skilled a mechanical fault round 15.30pm. The blaze broke out shortly after with passengers and crew calling a mayday and evacuating through a life raft. The Police and Border Guard (PPA) attended the scene. No accidents have been reported. 

Local reviews counsel {that a} passing yacht was capable of save the stricken passengers and crew they usually had been later collected by the Estonian rescue unit.

A clean-up operation is now in progress to include the gasoline leak.
