Defence ministers from Sweden and Estonia go to Gotland for talks on the safety scenario within the Baltic Sea area

SWEDEN, March 23 – Minister for Defence Peter Hultqvist visited the Gotland Regiment (P 18) on 23 March, along with Estonia’s Minister of Defence Kalle Laanet. They held bilateral talks concerning the safety scenario within the Baltic Sea area and regional defence cooperation.

“Russian aggression towards Ukraine has essentially modified the safety scenario in Europe. The Swedish Armed Forces constantly adapt their actions with regard to the scenario.
