Volodymyr Zelensky honoured with a sand sculpture in Estonia

A small Estonian resort city, Tõrva, situated in Valga County in southern Estonia, has constructed a sand sculpture, honouring the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky.

The sculpture was designed by a Latvian sculptor Agnese Rudzite Kirillova and erected in collaboration with Yuriy Kosterin, an Ukrainian artist who got here to Estonia as a conflict refugee. It was sponsored by the native entrepreneurs.

It took 72 metric tons of sand to erect the sculpture. The city is planning to encompass the statue with different sculptures and name the realm Freedom Park; the park will open on 21 June and keep there till the autumn.
